Recent site of Long Island Open. Course is in fabulous condition in spite of a very wet winter and some early season scorchers. Native grasses give a "links" feel to a lot of the course, and landing in it often results in a lost ball or unplayable lie. Some bunkers so deep you can't see the green or the flag above you. Therein lie the challenges of this beautiful, manicured course. If you get a chance to play it as a guest, take the opportunity to do so.
